So vickies on the way out here to test about 45 birds I finally got my certificate for NPIP.

NNbreeder you think I can start getting you to certify my flock? I believe you said .50 per bird If you think you can give me a PM and I will let you know the next date I have should have 20-40 birds in a couple months that need testing

Al Is It normal for older cornish X rock (cornish cross) to shed alot of intestine lining I am noticing alot of red in there poo But its not the red you would see associated with cocci it looks more like lining.

Muesky Still waiting on my baby lol hope your doing ok and hope you like the feed.

New news I have discovered a way to make a Flock raiser thats 20% protein just like purina's flock raiser Without the fish bi product I am really liking the results. I am using milo, soybean, soy oils, Corn, Poultry premix, I tad bit of wheat. (not alot of wheat dont like the way it makes things bloat) Pm me for the full recipe if anyone is interested in the ingrediants. (is not for sale at this time still testing the results)

P&B I forgot I had some extra cages out in the truck at blanchard sorry I forgot. Did a head count last night I am up to 400 Birds. Got some buckeyes coming (sheez Al you werent lieing those birds are expensive. Just hope I can get the ride to arkansas to get them)

I have found a way to import some birds I am after some white Cornish and wheaten cornish there out of england. My question for my dear okies is how on earth can they survive that trip? thats alot of money to just throw out for a bunch of dead birds. the price to import and the things you must do are very complicated as I am discovering. Should I go for hatching eggs instead? there equally expensive?
Well vickie just left all my birds are good to go. Hope everyone has a good day.

I'll be there and will bring a few birds (a Dark Cornish trio and a Delaware trio), maybe some equipment.

So what's Al doing at the sale? I haven't been keeping up with the news.

Whatever it is, I'm sure he'll do fine.

Bill,
This is my son to a tee.
He hates school. He does ok but just hates being there.
He is like a modern day Huck Finn.

Thats funny, when I was in school me and my best friend thought of ourselves as Tom and Huck LOL Which spawned a ton of adventures of our own Mark Twain would have laughed his butt off if he could have seen us trying to smoke grape vines

What kind of turnout does the Fletcher auction have? When would I need to get there to get a good spot for wares to sell? I don't want to have my items hit the table at 11pm like at Blanchard there was not many left to bid on what was left by then. I have some odd and ends that I could sell some weird stuff like a ton of scissors LOL (everyone needs scissors right?) I'm looking at a way to make the trip pay for it's self

I'd like to attend just not sure how much stuff to bring and if it would be worth it gas and money wise, I already know it would be worth the trip to hang with the BYC'ers and to see Al have a go at auctioneering although having only met him once I have no doubts he will do just fine

Why does life always have setbacks I have mixed and perfected a flock raiser feed However one of the ingredients cannot be pushed threw the only Co op who still blends feed (fishmeal Product) So I had to improvise with soy oil well soy oil drops the ratio to 19% which still isn't bad But its not my 20% anyone have any thoughts on how I can bring about the 1% I was thinking Just leave out the soy oil and mix my own FBP here on the farm. I have the capability of grinding my own feed but not mixing large bulk. Just wondering if anyone out there has any idea's.
Edited - to say earlier on a post I thought we reached an agreement that would still get my feed to 20% with the oil But its either 22% or 19% it just wont work out without the fish bi product
