we got a little bit of rain, but probably not enough to cure the cracks in my yard - it is still lightening out to the West and backlighting the clouds - which makes for a strange looking sky.
Monty - don't give up hope. There may be more rain heading your direction. During the lull between the storms I should have gone out and checked on the juvenile turkeys, pheasants and peachicks. The thunder and lightening will probably keep me inside a while longer. I don't think we got enough rain to drown anything, but if the juvenile birds got wet, they may get chilled and turn up their toes - which is always annoying.
