Wooooooo Hooooooo !!!!!! I have 7 baby Dom chicks hatched out yesterday and today!!!!!! Thank you Michael!!!!!!! I can not wait to see how they grow out. I am so excited!!! I tried to write this up last night and when I went to post it the warning came up on the screen about the malwar warning. so anyways, just thought I would share that. Made some wonderful Red Plum jelly and some Red Ripe Jalapeno Jelly last weekend, have been busy with Fair entries this week but am going to make more, Plum, Jalapeno and some Cranberry/Jalapeno Jelly as soon as I get to it!!! Lynn

I just got chickens this year, and I live in Tulsa. Have 3 Australorps and 5 Production Reds. They just started laying about 2 weeks ago, and I'm now getting 6 or 7 eggs a day. I'm having fun.

I'd like to take a gander at the chickens at the fair, if there is a show at the fair. So is there a poultry show at the fair, and, if so, when/where?

I am looking for a good broody hen breed, I know that in the past I have had luck with cochins, is there any other breed that tends to be broody. My ducks and turkeys are getting tired of hatching everything I throw under them. Thought I might look into getting them some help.

Evening folks : So I recieved about 40 Bazillion calls late last night when the site shut down for maint, When I got to where I was going I borrowed a friends Iphone and was hoping we didn't get shut down again, I hate it when that happens, sure as tootin we were experiencing some IT problems, but not a lockdown thankfully, glad to see this morning we were up and running.

My back is a little sore tonight............ well Ok alot sore LOL, working a big Jackhammer almost 4 hrs today will do it, don't ask me why I did it, it was just one of those things that had to get done and I had the guy's strung out some today.

All of my Cornish and white rocks are in severe molt right now and the pen's look like they were having a pillow fight in there LOL, feathers are everywhere, but they look fine and soon I will be upping their feed mix to the custom post molt blend which really help the feathers come back in loooooking good.

Carah : Sorry to hear about your BooBoo, we all have been there before and we all know it stink's, I hope it's not too bad and soon you will be back in good shape. Do you get to wear on of those great big giant banages on it, you know the ones that make it impossible to even tie your shoes with it on.
