At work it seems like feast or famine. I am now three weeks behind and a couple of them are major rebuilds of rusted out trailers.

So I know that I will be able to make bills next month and have a bit left over.

So what color is the NN roo that you need hens for?

Morning all
It's going to be another hot one over this way. The weather guesser said last night that we have had over 90 days this year that have been over 90 degrees with normal being 70
days, I don't much care for it being that hot I like 75 or 80 and about 40 for cold.

Checking in this morning. Going to be hot here today to. Got the yard mowed last night.It created quiet a dust storm! Hope we get some moisture soon. Wish it would be snow!lol

Finally have all the birds reorganized after the cull. Didn't realize I had so many,I don't even miss the ones I thought I couldn't live without!lolHad a new batch come off the nest this morning. couple of turkens,couple of ee's and some wyandottes,8 in all. Still have two hens setting. And I was still saving eggs back to set more when realization hit! It was one of those "What was I thinking" moments!lol. I hate raiseing winter chicks but guess I will now.

Any swaps or sales in the eastern part of the state this weekend? We are headed back for a weekend trip this thursday. Always enjoy going back.

Brushy Mountain Auction Barn:

1st & 3rd Friday at 7PM (Poultry & animals only)

2nd & 4th Sat at 12pm (Poultry at noon with yard sale/junk to follow)

as far as the auction it is tomorrow night at 7 pm , on highway 59 north , at the brushy mountain auction barn a friend of mine is the owner and auctionier his name is kenny brewer 918-776-5459 is his cell number , take the first sallisaw exit , turn left , go to second stop light turn right , go to the fourth stop light which is wheeler and cherokee turn left , then go north about 5 to 7 miles i cant remember exact milelage , but the birds there are most usually always cheap and hear lately there really has been some nicer birds starting to come in ...
