The deal is that two clubs have worked together to put on this show. Saturday is an all-poultry one-day show. Then Sunday is a game bantam one-day show. It's two separate shows, they are just held back to back.

Yes, I missed it! I asked two people if it was for game birds only....both said "Yes"....so I didn't enter anything.

It is really confusing, but the reason they did it the way they chose was so the people with game bantams (who wanted to) could get two shows in one trip, but the people with other poultry could still have a regular show while not having to stay the night.

Anddddd.... there is also a third Newcastle poultry show, put on by a different person on a different date, that is a game bantam only show.

I should get on with the honey-do "list". It has much too much on it which leaves one like a deer in the headlights.... standing there ... stunned... much easier to study info on incubation techniques, egg purchasing, breeds and items of much higher value than a repaired chair, new hay rack for the goats, better arrangement for shoes...etc

Just candled the eggs I put in on 10/3 and pulled out about 18 eggs - almost ready for any Fletcher auction eggs

I tossed some of the guinea eggs that I pulled into the live trap as bait - one that looked too well developed for 2 weeks in the incubator exploded, so I know that there are some more guinea eggs to pull out -

Well we have arrived safely in Charlotte.

P&b when we stopped for gas back in Tennessee there was a guy pulling a trailer ob bee hives! They were covered with netting but. A bunch were getting out and flying around the trailer!as he took off they were trying to follow.I thought it was funny but then I wondered what would happen to those lost bees?iwoul have thought they would have plugged them up inside the hive.
