This was day 3 spent building a fence, and I'm tired!!!!

Hope we can get it finished in one more day, but DH has other commitments for at least part of the day so realistically it could be 2 more days. Once it is finished and a few small touches to the coop the girls will be ready for the great outdoors!

We are also getting ready for a wedding, not to big or fancy. My father in law who has been widowered for over 3 years has found a very nice widowed lady (also about 3 years) and they are planning on marrying in the middle of Nov. Both are over 70 yo, and it is actually quite sweet.

I saw lots of good suggestions for others that might not work so well for me LOL for example my hair isn't red...
I had been feeling puny to say the least for two weeks and am getting over it don't know what it was but wouldn't wish it on anyone.. well maybe one person.. No nevermind not even them LOL it was rather bad for a while there and bad timing with everything else going on like they say when it rain it pours and for me it ain't quit yet, just real happy to be feeling better
Hope you get feeling better and it isn't what I had

Sorry I got side tracked! I am just tired & wearing myself out, not sick thank Goodness. Madison is going to camp tomorrow & I have neglected the laundry & everythin else it seems. Just a few more hours & I get to start over. The rain is moving this way!!! We need some rain.

Had a good bit of excitement in the house a few minutes ago I was sitting here and all of a sudden two of the dogs started attacking the television jumped up to see what the heck was going on and a possum had come in through the dog door and was under the shelf my 125 pound dog almost knocked the whole thing over trying to get it, I got the door open and used a grabber to fling the thing outside where it met a fate that didn't involve taking a tv with it LOL

I am new to the forum and this may be a silly question, but you can only learn if you ask right? Here goes, I will be moving my chicken coop to my farm in a few weeks, so I was looking for chickens for sale on the forum. The problem is they all seem to be from out of state! Doesn't anyone in Oklahoma sell any of their chickens on here? Maybe you could advise me of a good place to go to find some? I am wanting a variety, such as chickens to raise for meat, good layers, bantums, and silkies to begin with and then I'll go from there. Any suggestions for good breeds? It has been several years since I last had chickens and things have changed a lot.

Thanks!
