No snow here either, 38 degrees and the rain has let up.

Anyone bored enough to do a baseball schedule for me??

My bantam modern game are not hatching!!

Hennypenny: Sorry to hear about the esophagus...I have scar tissue in mine that they found with an endoscopy...it wasn't so bad. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Weather: It started raining down here around 4:15 and now it's thundering and lightning. I'm praying that the electricity doesn't go out since I've got eggs in the incubator. My husband said I worry more about the eggs than my girls, and I said "my girls won't die if the electricity goes out!"

I doubt VERY seriously if we get anything more than rain, but the cold weather can stay away..it's already dropping in temps.

My girls are heading down to Idabel tomorrow with the elementary honor band....I've thought about hitching a ride to go to the Poultry Show....LOL. One of the twins plays clarinet and the other one plays snare drum.

Ahhhh, nothing like the sweet sound of chirping chicks!!!

Its sleeting here now, has been for about an hour......... it turned to snow for about 2 minutes..... then back to sleet.

Ah! hadn't thought about those with bators, I've just been dwelling on my 51 chics in the brooders in my cold garage. Good luck everybody

Hi all, we have rain, sleet, rain and more rain, it is cold, windy and rainy, did I mention it rained today???? Glad I did not get my garden started yet, it would be floating down the ditch with the rest of the soil from my garden!!!

Teach I was in band too, played the Trombone, well I set outside the bandroom door all semester anyways (too much zing in a trombone and not enough room in the bandroom!!!), needless to say I play the radio pretty good now as long as it has buttons on it!!!!

Teach_ Quail question number fourty three, did you have the one they call jumbos and what is the difference in them and the regular coturnix, do you have any pickled quail egg recipies???

Na-Na an old man I know cans his bantam chickens the same way, in a pressure cooker, just skins them and cleans them and stuffs them in wide mouth jars and cans them, said that was the way they done it before they had a fridge!!!

Al- I have some refrigerators, have couple side by sides and a couple over and unders, if yall need them, it is a long drive but thought I would offer, I have not give up on making a side by side Bator-Hatcher for myself, just need time and money!!!

Lost one of my Golden Pheonix chicks yesterday in the brooder, he acted like he could not breath good and he was eating and drinking but just couldn't breath good and died after a day. Any ideas???
