Thanks guys.... for the prayers and support... and I really appreciate you...

It is cold and windy here and looks threatening, but so far... nada. Hens are still out and pecking... they are crazy... I would be in my hut snuggling on my roost...covering my toes with my feathers!

Has anyone watched the news... The news nowadays is awful.... I wish I could turn it off.... hubby is a junky! bUt I cannot complain....man buid big fire in fireplace

They wrote me 2 prescriptions at the docs... I have blue cross and my portion...co-pay whatever ya wanna call it was $110.00! for 2 dang prescriptions....(*Hennies assumes the position... bends over... grabs ankles*). Then the doc tells me to lower my stress level!!

Yay stimpy has been found! I lost it on the wife comment!

We have had nothing but rain here today! I might stop for 5 minutes only to come a downpour. Thank goodness my husband didn't listen to me and hasn't planted anything in our garden! They are still happily in the kitchen window.

I have to say I couldn't of picked a better weekend to hatch! I am slightly worried, I have 4 that have pipped. I didn't expect any action till in the morning......I have to stay on here and stop pacing back and forth to the bator!

I know what you mean. What is also frustrating is when the insurance company decides that an "over the counter" med will work the same, so they will no longer cover the RX variety. I developed Bronchitis in less than a week after I switched to an OTC antihistamine - and missed 2 and 1/2 days work. In hindsight, it would have been less expensive to pay the $2.47 per pill out of my pocket and get the RX kind I have been taking for years.

Nexium is one of the most expensive co-payments of my meds, but not taking the RX strength isn't an option. BTW - the endoscopy isn't too bad. If that is one you are taking, ask your pharmacist if they have any coupons for $ off the script.

Now you got my husband.... and the blank stare from me

What? I said you were pretty.

What's that song? "If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife, from my personal point of view - get an ugly girl to marry you"

He said that was the best they could do. I called AstaZeneca because they used to have the purple pill club, and that took $30.00 off my $80.00 co-pay...they said they are not offering any more cost saving programs at this time. Of course. My co-pay is 50% so it is $160.00 a month... but I have tried others and they don't work as well....I was thinking of writing a letter but.... I might as well be shouting into the wind... They are making a killing......

I remember that song well. We had a recording of it on our reel to reel tape player when I was growing up.

The problem is, if you don't take the right medicine, your stomach tries to kill you.

One thing about this nasty weather is that we are currently about 775 posts ahead of Kentucky

but still about 900 posts behind Michigan

Oh well, the hour or two we were ahead of Michigan in posts a few weeks back was fun.
