Gosh, I've missed you guys! Welcome to all you newcomers, and hi, Sonya! I'm from just outside Wilburton, too.

I'm really wishing I could come to POOPS. You're such a great bunch of people, I would just love to meet all of you! I'm a band geek, too...although I guess more of an orchestra geek now. I'm one of those flautists that sounds like a deep-fried Mexican dish. Serve me with some queso and I'm good to go, I guess...

I'm so sorry to hear about your health problems, Henny, and about your wife, Al. But honestly, I've been through a lot worse than my nuclear stress test, so tell your wife not to worry about it. That won't help! Prayers for you all, for health and for safety in the weather...

Where are you at Dot? I'm a home health nurse so I go all over around Wilburton, Hartshorne, Haileyville, Stigler, Quinton, Kinta, out toward Talihina, etc. What kinds of birds do you have?? I'm so happy to know someone is around where I am!!!

Ok, all of this talk about quail has my husband asking questions about raising them now...LOL. Are they housed outside and so they need separate quarters than the chickens? He's even said something about having a couple of turkey...I see expansion in the future...we've already started digging a small pond next to the chicken coop and run so that we can fence around that and let the ducks have a bigger place to swim.

I'm going to read more on quail and turkey now...
