Thought it was friday,

Was working outside the new coop, when there was a crash and a loud squawk,

not sure who it was but one of the roosting bars had fallen, had to be grace, who have become to be called chumbs. She's more rotund than round. brace had broken so I quickly fixed it, and when I was in the process of fixing it, the entire flock seemed to arrive at the same time. of course except for the four slow ones

who seem to not understand that the old coop is no longer a chicken coop, but a storage.

Morning folks! Kind of damp here this morning. Not freezeing yet but its on its way. The birds seem to know, they are eating the corn in the scratch, even the pigeons which usually don't touch it.
Don't guess I'll make it to a sale today, but am going next weekend to the Elkton,Ky sale. Taking the rest of my parlor roller, have decided to get out of them. Wish you were closer Teach!lol Also thinning out some flying rollers.
My Indian runners still aren't taming down. I am selling one pair and would like to keep the trio but they need to calm down a lot. The Shamos are getting better. They show more interest in me now and don't just go bonkers when I'm around!
Can't wait till spring and hatching season again. Its going to be a long winter waiting I'm afraid.lol

Well good morning all, slept late, got in late last night from Dakota's football game in Moore, regretfully they lost 33 to 14, they played hard. Dakota got sick and had to lay out the last half, he is setting around this morning still sick, probably what is going around, slight fever, upset stomach, headache, you get the drift. Hey Poco Pollo I got my first Buff Orpington eggs day before yesterday from the pair of BO I got from you when we met up at Betsy's and got our Guineas from her. I am excited. I also started getting eggs from my Sexlink pullets I bought from a friend in Ripley, OK. Got my lights up and going and starting to get more production from my hens. Have scrap iron to haul today so better get out there and get busy, yall have a good day!!!! Lynn
