Graces Dad , yeah the quail hatching is a good thing since , i bought some grown quail to learn to hatch them after buying several several hundred eggs and nothing but maybe 4 , and so i bought the birds and those are the ones i actually hatched a few from , and they didnt make it , so i sold the birds , and decided about a month ago to give it ago again , and well i guess its just my time to hatch them now

yes i plan to raise quail , right now i have texas a&m , and brown courtnix i believe they are jumbo ... but i will have some bob whites when they start laying again

Hey everyone,

We picked up our birds that were being housed at Peaches place.. THANK YOU

we have them in a feeding out pen until the deed date comes rolling around, just built it yesterday before we picked them up... Jason and I were marveling at how dumb we been when we could have done this long time ago.. I guess its because we have been so brain wrapped with everything else going on it was hard to see past our own noses.. lol .. I hate to have to lock em up after just coming back home but what else do you do when you have birds that wanna waddle all over the property and neighbors who are unpredictable...

A few of the chickens are still laying... lol... and are now enjoying their afternoon corn treat that me and lil boys go feed them. I figure with the weather getting colder by the day for the season it would be best to start treating them with corn in between feeding times. Other than that we are trying to stay afloat.. our dishwasher took a dump last week and so I ripped it out and put shelves in.. TEE HEE who needs a dishwasher when you have ME and a TEEN HA HA HA HA

I know. It's gotta be the same one from last month or so, or at least related/same pack. I'm going to have to play down & dirty I guess. Bad thing is I'll prob end up eliminating a few cats in the process.
