Well usually pigeons mate for life but can be broke up and remated most of the time, I have raised several breeds in one cage and didn't really have problems with cross breeding, you need to keep the young ons pulled out and get them paired up seperatly before putting therm back in with the rest though, and keep only pairs in the pen and plenty of roost and nestboxes available. Lynn, if the guy fills a single cage with different breeds of fancy pigeons, won't he wind up with Heinz 57 pigeons instead of the expensive, fancy kind?

Thanks Wayne, i will get ahold of Micheal, that is an excellent idea, I have been out of the pigeon circles for a while myself. What colors are your birds? Do you have pics? Lynn

Morning fellows~ I haven't had enough coffee! Yep back to work for me today & not looking forward to it. Not only the end of the month but the end of a qaurter & the end of the year!~

I know what you mean. I got up at 4:40 and watched all the news I could stand. . My little white pullet was in the nest yesterday and I got a pullet egg.... I am sure it was hers. I am excited about the next few mo. I hope to have several chicks on the ground. She is with my WLR roo now. I wish the young one was old enough to breed now but it won't be long
