I agree I don't buy the whole fireworks thing, if that was the case it would happen every year during high fireworks holidays. The other question I had about the official story is at least the Beebe AK incident happened in the middle of the night, and these birds were suppose to be scared into flying into things, why didn't any windows get broken out, or why didn't people say they were scared out of their beds w/ the loud thumping and banging of the birds flying into the houses?

He killed my white OEGB rooster the other day.... Well not on purpose. That rooster made some gorgeous chicks but everytime you reached in the pen he was constantly flogging you. He got Carl in the hand on a vein, you would have thought he had butchered a chicken on my back steps with all the blood from Carl's hand. So Carl went out there and trimmed his spurs. I found him that night not doing so well. We brought him inside for the evening and he was dead the next morning. I think he lost too much blood and was too cold.

We have already replaced the rooster but I figure I can give carl a hard time about killing my rooster for at least another week. Just one more chicken I wanted to keep that he got rid of....LOL

In my own defenence I had to remove the rooster from my hand there was nearly 1/2 inch of spur under my skin. I did not intend to harm him however trimmed him a bit short he was more than a bit lively when put back in the pen and did mate a few of the hens after the fact. he couldn't have been that bad just the added stress and cold became too much.

i get the idea the so called experts forget we can think these things through- and the media is trying to hush up speculations- like carl said, we just need to be careful with our flocks- very sad situation

Thats a weak defense! I say we turn it over to the Grand Jury! Let there be justice! Okay thats my political statement for tonight,Jarvis you can go back to your cell! lol

I had a good supper and been visiting with my buddy that is hanging while he waits for another well...he is a mud-logger and hangs with us when he is in the area. Keeps him out of trouble and he does dishes!

frillbacks....I have reds and another color...um..blue...um...yeah....I need some more. Hoping this breeding scheme gets me some! Do you know if they have to go through a molt before they frill? I have a young bird that looks like it wants to frill but not really...I thought it was an oops but now I am not so sure...
