Okies in the BYC The Original

Ok Okies, I need some advice. My first set of shipped eggs just arrived. It was from someone that had never shipped before. I have three busted eggs, they are all over the other eggs. If I wash it off with a damp paper towel will they hatch or should I just chunk them??

sooner, i have had busted eggs, I just cleaned them off with a semi damp paper towel the best I could, was shipped 16 eggs all but 10 busted and 3 hatched. One key thing is the water should be as warm as the egg is. Something like that.

I wont be ordering anymore mail eggs they just dont make it.

My weenie dogs were out back one day barking their heads off... They sounded odd... so I figured I better go check. Sure enough they had a green garter snake pinned in the grass. Poor thing was playing dead and they were hovering right over it barking away. I swear I heard him yell, "I'll do anything... just make it stop!" I picked him up and carried him over to the veggie garden I had at that time (that was back before I knew nothing grew in southwest Oklahoma but careless weed). I swear I heard a sigh of relief! It was a scream.... those dogs must have driven that poor snake crazy with all the noise and vibrations.....!

Nothing ventured nothing gained.
I had a bloody egg I cleaned this way it hatched but it wasn't shipped.
