Anyone have a couple standard black NN pullets or hens without a bow tie that they want to sell or trade?

Wish that I known that yesterday I sold a nn roo in with all the other he was a nice looking guy. I may be able to get him back and a hen to go with him
Let me know if you would like me to check

You are too funny Don!

Why would anyone want to part with them?
I am making fun only because I know how hard they are to find. Ed Hayworth in Tahlequah might have some or put you in touch with someone over there who does.

My NN process has been slow. I am hoping to rev it up this year.

I lost both of my biggest black NN brood hens in last six months.
I have several pullets coming on and I hope to multiply my NN numbers this year.
I also have blue and red and I am gonna try and get Cuckoo started this year.

Well I have part of my plan worked out as I am getting a white leghorn from Lynn
I already have 2 black hens but they seem to have a little gold lacing so I am not sure they will do the trick that I want.
Do you have the number for Ed Hayworth?

Hey Okies! The world is covered in white here in Tulsa - and the sun just came out and it is BRIGHT out there!

I have been pondering on turning my laying flock over this year. I mentioned this to Buckguy at the Shawnee show and he suggested I sell my current flock, which for some odd reason had not occurred to me. So I may actually make it to an auction this spring - or maybe bring them to POOPS. They are two years of age and laying good - most of them are done molting and I've been getting 10-13 eggs a day from 16 hens. The mailman brought me an envelope full of yellow papers from Ideal Poultry the other day, and I'm scoping out what to order. I'm hoping the anticipation of raising a new flock of pullets will outweigh the sadness of selling my current clucks.

So what's been going on?
