No school for me today. I've got a batch of ceramics projects to fire. This gives me the extra time I need. DH called when he got to work. He had to use 4WD until he got to the freeway. We've got a few little hills between home and work, so I'm glad I didn't have to venture out.

Birds seem okay with all the snow. Ducks are back in their own pen. They were making a slush pile in the Barred Rock pen, and I was worried about frozen feet.

Vesta must be part polar bear. I finally downloaded some pictures of her first snow day. She's a hoot.

At first, Vesta wasn't sure she wanted to be out in the snow. She spent some time hiding. I'm sure she thought she was invisible.

She wanted to roll in her favorite grassy patch. It's covered in snow, but she rolled there anyway. Vesta spotted a bunny. I was surprised to see one out at mid morning.
