Hello all, I am back.
I just got caught up on most of the posts.
Al, congrats. I guess this means that incubator project you were working on was a success.
Teach you think you could build a wall across NW Oklahoma to hold the wind back. If it works, I'll get Al to build one in his neck of the woods.
Well, my nine year old killed his first wild turkey Saturday. We had a great time out in the woods. I think I may just go ahead and cook it for dinner tonight.

Anyone want a 6wk old SLW or silkie roo? I know I have those boys and I am sure that out of 40 chicks I will have more to offer but, I know these are boys. I want a couple boys and I am not sure what the others are yet.

Any tricks on sexing EE's? I have read all the topics on this site just wanted a little Okie help.

I really want to come to POOPS but, it is the weekend before finals and I don't know how much studying I will need to do.

If I do come do my birds have to have individual cages or could someone just get my birds and bring it home in thier own cage?

I'm on the last week of my hatch...Wednesday I stop turning the chicken eggs and crank the humidity up. My duck eggs have an extra week. I'm sure I only have two viable chicks out of the 6 welsummer eggs...boooo. I'll be happy with that given it's my first try at incubating and they were shipped eggs. If anyone has Welsummer eggs to bring to POOPS I'd be very very interested or some chicks even....I really want to get a good flock of them going.

Well, back to work!

wow I just end up having time to read post like it is....
My daughters teacher would like to have three Cochin eggs to hatch in the class room. She fell in love with my daughters hen and roo when she brought them in for show and tell. Im not having any luck here local and dont want to travel far really. So do you guys have any eggs at all I can buy for her ? Any egg any type at this point.... Just three tho not a dozen....

Beth would the teacher like to have a couple of chicks in the class room, probably a lot less work. Just for a couple weeks then you could either keep them or I can take them back or what ever.
