Does $20 sound OK?
Shaun has shown then at Ottawa county and the judge really liked the hen but thought the roos ear lobes was to big!

We should have taken him to more show but we didn't. The hen did well at Pryor though.

They sound good to me... IF I can come up with another pen, I would love to get them

It occurred to me that if I wanted to "dye" eggs, I would have to go buy some from the grocery store to get some white ones. I could just hard boil the blue and pink eggs, but most of my eggs are brown and would be hard to dye a pastel color.

Have a safe afternoon and evening and enjoy the auctions. We are off to attend my husband's high school reunion. Last year he laughed at me for talking to more people than he did.

Since I was a military brat and we have never had a reunion, it is fun to watch a group of people that have known each other for more than 50+ years and spend a few hours once a year "catching up."

O sage builders of bators....
old.gif
do you think a bator could be built out of a stove oven. I just replaced my stove and as we were hauling the old one out... the glass in the door broke.... shattered right out of it like an explosion.... but the back part of the door is still there. I was wondering if it was feasible to try and make a bator, if we broke it down etc....

Wind is amazing again.....

.... Going to go get hens done up before storms hit...

OK...I'm thinking if I take the floor of the oven out and relace it with harware cloth.... I can use the broiler as a hatcher drawer....I already have a lightbulb socket... (but it's a wussy one... a 40 watt appliance). I was wondering about the turners, Al....size wise.... I need to get the electronic part off... the panel, but then there is the switch....I thought the light switch was cool...
