No, It was about four miles from us. I am not sure what happened.
It wasn't windy and I don't see how it could have spread enough to force an evac. I'll have to watch the news. I wasn't home to be evacuated anyway but we came by there on the way home and they rerouted us.
Thanks for checking.

Monty

HennyPenny....get the wine and meds out of the oven !!!!!
See, while they're talking and figuring....we're listening......
and seeing what they come up with.....and taking notes........
By the next POOPS....we may just show them some "stuff"
that they would have bet against..........LOL

Oops....my "other side" is showing....................................

Sounds like the "outside" Easter Egg hunts are "out"
for tomorrow. Gees, hope most of the rain falls down around
OKC and puts the fires out for good. It was beautiful here
at Tahlequah today.

And, yes, "sunrise" tomorrow morning....whether we can see
it, or not..........was the most beautiful day that our poor old
earth has ever known.

Have a beautiful Easter !

Howdy folks! I have been looking from time to time but not talking. Tried to work outside but it has been raining!!! Real exciting stuff for us! Except it has hung in the 40's all day! Got rid of a bunch of rats and put the boys with the girls. I think I got the grud. Ya'll be good!

It is thundering and lightening like crazy and raining a little.
I want more rain and less lightening. I made a dash to the pens to put the Hamburgs inside.
The goofy things wont get on the roost and were all sitting outside.
I got them in a coop inside the hen house. Of course they squacked like I was taking them to the guillotine.
Teach sorry you got the grud. Sorry you had a gloomy day.
I hope you feel better soon.

Howdy Teach :

I enjoyed our conversation today, I think some big fun is in store for all of us at POOPS, Can't wait to see all the folks. I will start building some pen's for the quail so they can be ready when I return with them.

The thunder and lightening sound like we are in for a torrent of rain. I moved my hen and her chicks from the outside pen into the barn. A few years ago I had a hen and her chicks in that pen and it rained so hard that it filled up the nest and the chicks drowned

tonight however, they are dry in the barn - I will worry tomorrow about how much mess one hen and 7 chicks can make by running around inside a barn that isn't set up for chickens

LOL LOL Incubator kickbacks (*in a heavy german accent*) I know nothing nothing!!!!!! ( Sgt Schultz ). I was telling Henny that I ran across a couple more starter cabinets that would work for a bator. No takers so far, not really into production of them they are not really good enough for that. Had some fun Jacking with it though.

Hey Teach, found me a pen that I can put some 1/2 inch hardware cloth on for my quail breeder pens when I get to that, they were originally cages for rats or mink I think but they are the right size for trios of quail if I lay them on their side and put the smaller wire on bottom. I got lots of Game eggs goin into the incubators WHOOOOHOOOO I can't wait!!!! Still interested in some of yours Monty and still interested in our deal teach, i covered the Rep Inv with some plastic and tied it up to a panel so it won't blow aprt and get too wet I hope Teach, when you gonna be this way, did ya get ahold of your friend in Perry, what about the White Homers???? Later, Lynn

Sittin' here watching the weather.....looks like y'all in the OKC
area are gonna get some much needed rain. Hope it helps.

Just earlier caught a "bug" and dropped it down into the box
(in my livingroom) that has the 5 day old chicks in it.............
........RODEO TIME........ LOL One of the little white Old English
had it......until a Rhode Island Red took it away from him......
gulp.....now gotta watch for another bug.....LOL Oh, they're
all still running around looking.....makes me think of the old
story about the hounds and the scoop of boiled okra........
Yuck.............

Have a good one !
