Evening everyone! Well home from buying flowers for the 4H project that we will plant tomorrow. Got everyone fed and put up. Let me older bunch out to play for a while. My cat decided to stalk them! She is going to learn a lesson real quick! The hens will chase her but the little one's don't know yet. I only get a few minutes before I have to go make lists for our cousin that is coming to feed for us this weekend. I don't look forward to being gone all weekend again. OKC here I come again. I'm tired already.

my three little quail are doing great. jumpin all over and stretching to see out of the box. The four Australorps are brats.....Everytime I reach in to feed or water them they peck. I am going to buy a watering trouth(sp) to house them until their yard and house are built.
I have been bitten by the bug and am now looking for a incubator.
We did not ave rain here today, but it is so wet it doesn't matter. My yard flooded in front and now my lake is back. I have a ceramic alligator I put in it whenever it gets large enough.

BIG question-
I went over to the house we've been trying to get, I looked around at the storage building, It's 12x16 feet, but the thing is we need to fix it up... ALOT. I was wondering if anybody would want to help me do that, I can't do that on my own... momma will be working days, Dad's an Owl working nights sleeping almost all day. If I only had help from dad, It would take maybe all summer. If not I would be happy with ideas as many as I can get. I've looked at alot of coop designs, and not many of them have good instructions that I can use.

been busy with chicks- hard to keep my hands off those silkies of carlas, they are just too dang cute!! the other banties want to investigate them, but i am thinking i need to wait a week or so?? and my big girls(2months old) are getting really impatient to get in their new coop...if it ever dries out enough to work on it...wish we could store the rain for august...
