well got my chicks from cackle this mornin.we ordered a hatchery suprise an it was a suprise.we got a baby goose,3 baby runner ducks,3 blue slate turkeys an 40 babychicks some are feather legged standard cochins,americanas an some i havent figured outgoing to try an post pics if i can figure out how somebody help me:cd

Anyone have any pilgrim geese around here, i want a little trio so bad. Ive got attached to my neighbors. She eats from my hand, drinks from the hose, and flys down the hill to my truck every evening when I go see her. Then she fallows me around while I feed and water and lock everything up.

Bikokie, would love to see that goose you got and the feather legged birds.

OMG!
As I was jailing my chickens feeling sorry for myself and the poor dead ones that freken hawk swooped down and took my daughters blanket ! Now this is scary. Husband looked it up after finding tail feathers and we all have seen this jerk and it is a cooper hawk. I think Im going to buy a gun with blanks to scare it away. Taken the blanket was for a doll and I was in a coop for a bit but DANG country life and stupid hawk....
Lynn should go to the doctor before his finger tissue dies. That will be worse then seeing a doctor. He will have to see a surgen.
Great news Stray on the house give your parents a high five.
My lab ate a bee or something and his mouth was HUGE. I gave him some Benadryl and saved myself a vet trip... Thanks

Just a quick hello before we head out the door for graduation ceremony's, The girls tell me we have a busy day ahead, awards ceremony,grad ceremony, 2 parties to take her to, and gift giving. I am tired already LOL. Well gotta go pick out my suit and get dressed see YA'll tonight.

Luvs - dang your man friend is tough and stubborn! You should have done a frying pan to the head and hauled him off! City had some good info on snakes! The little ones aren't anymore deadly just tend to give all wet bites while adults will give dry bites on occasion. Coral snakes are bad news...but really hard to get bit by! They are rear fanged and have very small mouths. They must chew on you to inject and then can only really get you on thin spots...between fingers and toes. Most snake bites are recieved by white males 16-25 years of age alcohol is thought to contripute to the event) and on the hands! In other words some stupid redneck yells, "Hey Y'all! Check this out!"

Stimp - I still think you are intelligent...I might hate myself but I will take 3 or 4 of the 3? colors
