We lost power at school today and I had quail eggs in the 'bator for embryo development...Took out to my truck and plugged them in (I have converter) and brought them home...they will have to make another trip back to school...sometimes the best laid plans...stupid wind and power lines!

The eggs that I have in the incubator are due to hatch on the 24th, so, after the 25th will be fine..... I will get back to you on picking them up........... It would make a good weekend drive. I will talk to the wife about it.

Stimp - I don't but have a buddy that did...I will check with him to see if he still has any or where his went...they were great dogs...my boys and I killed a bunch of rabbits with them...be careful lots of folks raise them and assume they hunt without taking them! I should know something later on...stupid electricity

Yes! Jack has bought a computer, but still has some "learnin' to do" on it. I told him our website address & hope to see him soon on here.

Yes! Sam is the guy from Lawton that keeps all the notes! He said someone was going to give him their old computer and hopefully someone in Lawton will help set him up on the internet & show him our website. I know he'd enjoy it.

I have a male beagle but he is no pup. He is from great bloodlines but has never been hunted. He does run rabbits around here and has brought some in that he has killed. I don't have a female so making the puppies is gonna be hard.
I have another dog that is from a champion Beagle male and his mom was a wandering beagle that looked very much full blood.
There must have been some hanky panky in her lineage because the pup we got from that mating doesn't even look like a beagle now that he is grown.
I guess I am saying if you can find a female I have a male that would love to pay a visit.

Hi all, I have not been on in a while and I guess I started all this about the POOP meeting??? I would like to join, how do I go about becoming a POOPhead!!! I live in Morrison Okla. have raised chickens for about fourty years, some breed or the other and so forth, I enjoy visiting on the internet and would love to meet people I talk to, I too have a couple of chicken and pigeon friends that might tag along. SOOO what do you say???? Can I join???? Greybear23 aka Lynn

Lynn we(as in the whole group) are working out the final details now on the Poop get together, we should know something here real soon as to where, we do have the date set 25th or April. We just need to fine tooth the "where" part. I am sure the friends would be ok. Actually I am looking for pigeons, i have doves. Not to sell tho. I will probably be the one that is buying and not selling. I might have some birds to sell by then tho, they would be chicks.

yes I agree..... The words free food may not be a good idea...
I would do something like if your coming then you could pre-pay
your food ticket. That would give a head count and the funds up
front. You could always have more food their for people that show
up that didnt think they could....

So what you are saying is I am a member of POOPS, and I am invited and can help make decisions in the future, how organized is this group, does it have officers and such or is it a self reighning layed back group, I think I shall like it here, and become a little more active, still looking for eggs to set from anyone near StillwaterOK. thanks, Lynn
