There was a picture of me tied to the bathroom door at one point...that would have been the middle sister. Now when we get together I like to grab them turn them upside down and shake to see what might come out. I grew bunches! One likes to yell for help from her hubby but he just tells her that he knows what she used to do to me and he ain't gettin' involved in family stuff that has been around longer than him! I like im...plus I am bigger than him as well!

Sad news once again.......
Last night we came back from church to a completely dark town (all the power was)! My first thought was "NO! What about my incubators!".

Well, the power was out for 1 1/2 hour before we got back, so the 'bators were down to around 75*. I insulated them with towels and stuff, but buy the time the power came back on 30 min later, they still had dropped another 5*.
One set was due to hatch today, and one set had only been going for 2 days. I don't which I am more sad/worried about

Oh, the chicks were in a cold and dark shop by then, so they got to come inside - alternating between my lap and a box by the water heater. They are all fine

Graceful...so sad to hear that

maybe it will work out...mine that went through a power loss and move between electricity hatched fairly well so hopefully it will be okay.

Along those lines of eggs...I will probably be interested in some seabrights and maybe seramas and maybe d.ucles and possibly the dutch and will see if you have others laying...darn I listed all of the bantams...shoot me some prices...thanks

We could use a little help identifying these bantam hens that we were told were "Peachface." They are great little layers and brood hens but we don't know what breed they are. Got them at Atwoods in straight run bin.
