That is a fantastic idea! If I had space for anymore birds, I would love to help out... but I need to get rid of about 15 birds as it is

Ok, I just called hubby to tell him that I would be late getting home from work and he tells me that we have used 100lb of chicken feed in 4 days.

And by his tone I don't think he was pleased.

So what are the options?
a.) Sell chickens at the next swap meet
b.) Hide chickens at a friends house
c.) Go home and cook a REALLY nice dinner a hope it will smooth over

d.) kill hubby and bury him in the garden.

just a suggestion.

I don't garden!
But I do live on 75 wooded acres in Ottawa County. It was on the Tonight Show many years ago about if you want to get away with murder just go to Ottawa County Oklahoma!!
And we do have Picher with all of thier mine shafts. Just a thought.

But who would BUY all my chicken feed if I got rid of my darling better half?

Go with C. He does (or at least mine) calm down with a full belly. Till the next day. I know about going thru 100 lbs in 4 days. Are you feeding anything else along with the birds. How many chickens are you feeding.

I'll have turkey poults at POOPS. We have a bourbon poult right now, and a black spanish poult too ... and a couple of dozen turkey eggs due to hatch Friday. Bourbon Red, Narragansett, Royal Palm, and Blue Slate.

OK... My friend calls me and says she found a bator for sale in some paper. The guy lives in Weatherford and here is his number 580-772-2420. I call himup and he askes if I am serious about hatching chickens...I'm like well yeah or I wouldn't be calling...He asks me if I'm really serious...So it turns out it holds 2900 eggs! Turns out the guy ran a state licensed hatchery and its an old commercial bator.....I think it was either $700-1000. He has a bunch of different stuff. He has a Sportsman, but he's keeping that.... Thought some of you guys might like talking to him....He seems cool.

OK.... Going to take 6 aspirin, 2 Nyquil crawl in my bed with my blankey and my stuffed hen and die....

Love y'all

Behave and don't play with anyone's rooster but your own Grey....
