No, the last time (and only time) I went to the Cement auction was in November, when I bought about 60 day old chicks of unknown variety, 4 chocolate turkeys, 6 silkies and 4 rabbits of uncertain parentage.

I just recall Carla commenting here on BYC, about her migraine at the Cement auction.

Hi all, I probably won't be around much the next few days. We have an Easter Pageant at church tomorrow and Sunday.
Plus a family birthday to celebrate.

SC, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know if something happens to my mom she will not go into a nursing home. My mom tells me now in fun, that if she is ever bed ridden and i have to nurse her DO NOT put her on sheets that have been washed with towels. I tell her MOM I am NOT that mean.

You guys think that Carla and Gerald have already spoiled that baby.

Morning okies!! I'm excited, after dying eggs this morning with my kiddos we will start rebuilding our coop!!

I love projects. I should really spend the day painting the outside of the house, but chickens come first

Morning all from Tn. Got those tornados from you all yesterday. They were just south of us. Multiple funnels,lots of damage and several deaths.
Now its cold and damp,not chicken weather! Going to a poultry show in Lebanon ,Tn today. Patiently waiting for more hens to hatch and more hens to go setting!I think my duck has finally started setting,but she comes off for hours at a time. Hope she doesn't ruin the eggs.

Hey all!! We are thinking about heading up to the Blanchard auction today. I have never been there so I need some directions to the sale barn. What all do the sell? Is it just poultry or do they sell lots of other goats and misc? I am mostly looking for hatching eggs to refill my bator, so does Blanchard sell very many hatching eggs?. Thanks.
