Hey chiclooker nice to realize there was someone new ( from BYC) at the sale. Yeah it was crazy (I got to bed at about 4:30) but I guess that that is a good thing. I help out there probably checked you out as you were leaving. I was the tall female walking around like a chicken with it's head cut off for about 3/4 of the evening.

Carla had someone last night raising cane ( bad enough that when she said she would not be coming back Misti sad BYE!) over the fact that we allow PO's at an auction. I think she may have been bidding on a few of your things and got pived oh well there are some people you just can't please. Same woman said she could not believe that they were POing roosters at 5$ and said it takes 7$ it happens she said she had NEVER seen a rooster go for more than 5$ it was hiliarious. I love to see people act like this It cracks me up. Did you stay until them end I can't seem to remember, by the time I got out of there I could barely remember my own name.

Well I just typed up a huge ole message and lost it on the puter! How frustrating is that?

Camping this weekend was freezing and windy...thought I would wake up with icicles on my nose Saturday morning. We ended up driving back to my moms house last night to sleep since it was going to rain like cats and dogs and did. I was a nice day though...got my step son from Moore to come with us and we caught three fish and lost quite a few lures.

Incubator on the invertor in the truck...temp dropped to around 90 on Friday night and I'm afraid they just aren't going to hatch. The two chick eggs I was expecting to hatch yesterday haven't even pipped, so I bet they died....I snuck some duck eggs out last night and candled them and they are all still swimming and kicking....

I'm getting two dozen new eggs to put in after next weekend when the ducks are supposed to hatch....I'm picking them up from okiehen since she's only about an hour from me...a dozen welsummer and a dozen blue andulasion....since peppers hatch went so well, I'm praying mine does as well too. I'm going to get an auto turner this time around so i'm not having to open the bator as much...and running a tube to add water for humidity.

Re: kids under 3....I had my youngest daughter when my twins were two months shy of turning 2..that was an insane time in my life...I had divorced my ex when I was 6 months pregnant with the youngest so I was a single parent to the three girls until the youngest was 3 and I married my hubby now. Three under two and in diapers was a busy life....thank God we've all survived and they are now 9 and 11 years old!

I hope everyone is having a great Easter! Gotta go put a ham in the oven!

I sure hope this weather settles down before POOPS.

Don't give up on your eggs. If you only dropped to 90o, it
very well could just slow them down a bit. They may yet

I was really pleased when we went to Cement to see Carla's Marans eggs going for more than the average Joe....Since I know what goes into them... I think A lot of folks think it's just a small town auction so people should give everything away....That's the nice thing about an auction to me...You don't want it...don't bid....bid gets too high for ya.... get off the train... No one is putting a gun to your head.... I'm with Al... haul the nutcases out and let the bidding continue!!!
