Almost forgot..............yesterday we have some visitors I am assuming they are wild turkeys. Very very pretty. They looked like the ones that start with an N. I was afraid they would take my Tom with them, he did go have have some turkey time with them but he came strolling back up the drive way about an hr later.

Hi Al. I know you are putting in those long days. Its hard for me to get on here in the evening sometimes. Especially if everyone is home.
Can you think of anything more we need for POOPS? Tina asked me so I sent her a short list I thought of so she can post it.
I am gonna be gone for a lil while, I am gonna try and catch them in the office at the KOA.

Well I may end up getting to go to poops. I have been waiting for one of my does that was pen bred to kid well she has been acting like it may be a while until this morning looks like the next week or so. Don't feel bad about me putting poops on the back burner for the doe, I also put back doctor on hold explained if I do have to have surgery it will have to be after this doe has her babies. This is the does that is CAE postitive so I will have to be there when she kids or, the babies would contract the diesase.

Also..................had our first farm raised, home butchered rabbits for dinner last night. I found a recips online and it was DELICIOUS honey baked rabbit. 1/3 cup butter 1/3 cup honey 2 Tablespoons honey 1 tsp salt and 1 teaspoon pepper. Baste every 15 minutes while cooking for 1/1/2 hours. IT was amazing hubby even took some extra with his lunch to give to the guys at work for them to try.

Humming... Its a beautiful morning..... THE sun is shining, FINALLY! My husband is painting my coop floor because we cannot find linoleum cheaper then 50.00 and I am too cheap to fork it out. He is putting the screen on the windows and adding the door, VIOLA I have a coop. YAHOO!

I can't wait to get these little escape artist out of my garage, boy do they make a mess.

Hello fellow POOPSTERS
I checked with KOA this morning and we still have some things to work out but here are a few notes for now.

There is one cabin left. Somebody better hurry.

They have added bathrooms to some of the cabins.

There are 50 chairs availble in the clubhouse so if folks can bring a few lawn chairs it would help. Also the capacity for the building is 70 so if we have inclement weather some of you will have to stand in the rain. No, just kidding but we will have to be watchful and not have the building bursting at the seams.
There is some question as to whether we will have the clubhouse for Sunday morn. Technically we are supposed to be out by 10 p.m. on Saturday. I am working with KOA on this I just need to talk to the bigger fish and they are gone again.
For those coming for that day, close parking will be tight so we may have to park some vehicles further away. Of course we can always shuttle people to their cars.
We can be in the building by 8 a.m. Saturday so I guess the official POOPS gathering will begin then.
As we get all the final things ironed out I will post the all plans and rules.

I am making my list for POOPS. I think my car is going to be full of cages! Where will I put my clothes? Can I put turkeys in with chicks??? Can't remember how old they will be...... Right now I think I am planning to bring three....but afraid that won't be enough or can't mix what I buy......help!
