Eventually, I'm gonna make it to the lake...........right............
Well, I'm holding that thought................

Guess we'll be back down that way in June for this NPIP class
deal and then back in December for the Shawnee show.....
Gees, I wanna go to the lake...send them out fishin'.....and
do nothin'...............

Some fishing sounds good! I don't get to do it often enough anymore! I won't make the lake till Memorial day weekend. Will spend most of my time entertaining the kids, lol. Isn't that they way it always goes.

Nope papa handed it to me. Maybe it wasn't quail?? Really small greenish with dark brown spots.....humm.

Maybe you can go to the lake between the end of school and the NPIP class.

I wasn't even thinking about "big boy" football...I've got a 3rd and 5th grader who live eat and breathe it and they are starting on new teams this year, since we moved.

We'll just have to see how it goes. If there's enough interest around the NE OK area, I've got a spot. But, OKC might be more convenient for people.

Oh well! There's a little while to figure it out, huh? LOL!

I met Cityclucks today! What a sweetie! She brought me my DE that poultryandbees picked up for me!

Sooner - Yup, it was Pa-Pa........LOL He used one of Teach's
cages to put a little bird in that he bought and the little quail
egg was down in the hay.........

I musta been chasing TJ and didn't have a clue what Pa-Pa was
doing.............LOL

Well, today was graduation day for the older chicks and the ducklings. I let the older chicks loose with the big birds in the coop today, then moved the ducklings out with Gabi's new EE in the hutch inside the coop. No more brooder in the livingroom for at least 2 weeks...then the eggs should be hatching and we'll be back in business.

The teenage chicks LOVED being turned loose in the coop and run! They went right to dust bathing and picking at everything. I hung a heat lamp from the ceiling for them, just in case they catch a chill.

I need to find a light to candle with...I burned out my hubby's work LED flashlight....LOL.

I'm sorry everyone, I am so sleepy I can't seem to figure out how to allow everyone to see the stupid pictures. I am going to bed and will work on it in the morning.

Grace - it is easy to recognizer that girl! Just look for the good looking blonde! Except she ain't that old! I got some boys I could introduce you to!

Popcorn quail! You guys aren't kidding! We were moving some around one day...the boys were supposed to be on the lookout for escapes while I put them in a box to go outside...we found one a closet!

As far as a show goes...I will help set stuff up and bring stuff for it...I ain't judging!...I will defend all judges from complaints...as long as I win

Sooner - I didn't do the egg thing obviously...but apparently I had a part in it...do I get brownie points for a happy kid? Gotta build them points up for my bad days

My eggs are in the bator and my chickies are happy and the roo has been introduced to the ladies...I know but I couldn't hold him any longer...the ladies were lonely!
