It is pouring here, but sounds like Pryor, about 23 miles North
is getting hammered. They've gotten 5.8 inches of rain in
3 hours !!! They've closed a long stretch of Hwy 69.

Henny - I was thinking along those lines.....We might otta
gather up "two" of every kind we have............LOL
Like God asked Noah when he sassed him, "Just how long can
you tread water? "

Have a good, and safe, one !

Yeah...One of my hubby's favorite lines..... How's Kendra and TJ doing? Tell em I said howdy! Just got done cleaning coops...I'm soaked! Gotta get a shower or they won't let me in the rest home door!!

Y'all be careful in all that water... I know down here we aren't used to all that precip-ee-a-ta-tion....

6-9-10 I could decide!! There is 3 people in the house and that attended POOPS can we have 3 votes??

Well I think my feet are starting to web from all of the rain we are getting!!
John just called and said we are suppose to get rain for the next several days. 6 inches by tomorrow morning. We have a tendancy to flood up here in this area and the Neosho river is already rising. All of this rain is not good. We are safe where we live but I know alot of people that could be affected.
I am worried about my birds at home drowning before I can get to them. I am glad I get out of here today at 1:30.

Well I guess baseball opening ceramony will be canceled tomorrow.

The guy called and the uniforms are done. So we will open up the HS gym and hand out uniforms, but I bet the first week or two of baseball doesn't get played due to this monsoon we are having.

If you know anybody inbetween Stillwell and Leach, you might
otta call and see that you can get through. They said Rose,
Leach, Oaks, and through there have had 6" of rain. I know
#10 is closed.....don't know about #59.

We got a good'un here a bit ago, but thankfully, didn't last
too long. That round was headed for Proctor - Christie.
Hope we get a break long enough for some of this to run
off.......... I gotta run to town.....better "get 'er done".....

Stay safe.

TJ's Na Na dont stop in the COOP they got stardard cochins in there. Looked like buff, black, partridge, and white ones. Big perty chicks. They also had LF Light Brahmas in there, about 25 pullets and a few cockerals. I wouldnt up picking up 5 mottled and 5 black japanese chicks. I gotta quite going in there, im spending way to much money on babys, if the wife only knew how much

What a shower we just had, i could hear the hail hitting the windows and the power blinked. I had to toss a dozen eggs out of the bator today. Out of 2 doz shipped eggs I got 10 left in the bator.

Thank you Grace! I didn't know .... but it's not me that does the great packing job ... Gerald needs to get all the credit. He is THE EGG MAN and came up with his own style of packing eggs for shipping. All I do is get the box ready, print a shipping label and put big bubble wrap around the "bricks" of eggs. From what I've heard back from people though ... fertility has been excellent with our shipped eggs. That's what really makes it all worth while. I love to hear from people saying they had great hatches!

Speaking of hatches ... the (shipped) wheaten oegb eggs that I bought from a BYC 24 hour auction & were due to hatch yesterday ... only 3 hatched out of 16 eggs

All my silkie eggs that I put in at the same time hatched, and I've got about a dozen turkeys hatching today! But next Wednesday, I've got an entire rack of turkey eggs due to hatch in my Sportsman.

I'll put you down for all three, a vote per person. Someone else feel free to check my math on the votes. It's not really easy to catch all the votes, make sure there are no repeats, and not count votes from quotes. If you find any discrepancies let me know. See post #12076 for the last count.

I just got news that one of my cousins and his wife were in a head-on car wreck on the 69 outside of Checotah on Tuesday. He was from Eufala, he and the driver of the other car were killed and his wife may not make it. Did any of you guys hear about it? They had been trying to call my mom since then but her area code had been changed. They just figured that out and finally called her last night.

Good day, all.
