Stimp are you sure we aren't related! I am a cheap skate and do the same thing. I will shop forever before I buy (except with chickens). Sometimes it's a good thing but others I get lost or just give up.

Lets see this has been a busy week! We got the goat and borrowed one from the neighbor so it would have company. Spent today keeping it in the pen. Rain or shine sat I will be building the big pen for them both. Went to see my grandma and delivered the turkeys I got from Carla to my uncle, just so happened my great aunt & uncle were visiting too. I spent a great deal of time being a taxi for the kids.....then all the normal chores that come with being mom & chicken farmer. LOL.

Good birds. I have mostly blue jersey giants and intend to sell my 5 black jersey hens. The only drawback that I can say about them is they are slow to mature ... can take up to 2 years before they stop growing. That's one reason they aren't recommended for meat birds.

I was realy getting with it cutting the backyard this evening when I hear a horrible noise and the mower dies. I disengage the blades and it starts up. I drive over to the porch and it dies when i jump off the seat automaticaly. Someone decided to leave about a 5 foot fabric strap out in the back amazon an it wrapped around both blades. Thought id lose a finger getting that out of there. And for some reason yesterday my wife takes my minner bucket out of her van and proceeds to run over it on her way to take the youngin to the doctor. Rolls the window down and says Ooops, it had a hole in it anyway and tells the neighbor to have a nice day.

Oh, now that sounds like Gerald's kind of fun. It just happens too be the weekend of Gerald's birthday (the 15th) and he's wanting to go to a military truck get-together of some sort in Wyandotte, OK.

That's where Quenston lives ... Wyandotte. Quenston, do you know of any military truck get-together? Gerald is a member of Steel Soldiers. He says they're having something going on there all next weekend?

Gib, what I was around him, was always a good guy. I was
married to Margie's little brother for 23 years. We stopped by
and saw Margie a couple of years ago and she and Gib were
taking fiddle lessons and really enjoying it. I hadn't seen her
in many years. Wish I could have seen Shannon.

Bill West, that had the mechanic shop up there somewhere,
is married to Bill's sister and they live at Grove.

I'm down here in Tahlequah, but yes, it's a small world.

Have a good one !
