I think if they were careful enough, they could move the incubator.
If it was just a couple of hours the power was out, before the generator was running, they should still hatch... just late.
I have heard you can run a Sportsman for a day or more just by putting candles in it....

The neighbor has a sportsman going and they are out too. Yesterday they was cleaning up limbs and she fell and broke her wrist!
I need to call and make sure her hubby got thier generator running to keep them going. She had blue slate turkey eggs in there to hatch next week. (A special project for Shaun)
Do you think that the incubator could be moved with eggs in it??
If he gets the genarator going do you think the eggs will be ok, just a day or two late?? I would hate to have her lose an incubator FULL of eggs PLUS have a broken wrist.
As far a chicks in a brooder, I have that too but I covered them (the brooder) with a towel and so far they are staying warm.
