I think if they were careful enough, they could move the incubator.
If it was just a couple of hours the power was out, before the generator was running, they should still hatch... just late.
I have heard you can run a Sportsman for a day or more just by putting candles in it....

I need to call and make sure her hubby got thier generator running to keep them going. She had blue slate turkey eggs in there to hatch next week. (A special project for Shaun)
Do you think that the incubator could be moved with eggs in it??
If he gets the genarator going do you think the eggs will be ok, just a day or two late?? I would hate to have her lose an incubator FULL of eggs PLUS have a broken wrist.

As far a chicks in a brooder, I have that too but I covered them (the brooder) with a towel and so far they are staying warm.

Carla, I am so glad the hatcher is working for you!
The plexiglass door was definitely a "selling point" for me! If it didn't come with one, I would have bought one to install anyway!

Mine has the wire dividers too. All my birds/breeds are pretty easy to tell apart, but I am sure those dividers will still come in handy

I got my mother's Day flowers today so I have planted almost everything. Went to Lowes got T-post, pool filter sand and flowers & paint.

We got the goat pen laided out but not finished. My babies got to play outside all day, they were in heaven! My grown girls & guys didn't even bother them! They are venturing further away from the pen more and more.

I got something going on with my silkies, off to see what I can find on the board.

Well I have all my babies out of the inside brooder to the outside coops!!! Now I have 3 brooders empty and it is driving me nuts!!!! May have to take a trip so I dont miss seeing the little fuzzy butts!!!!!
