That is in the ball park of what I was wanting to spend on a bator, is there any certain place that I should order from????

Wild nite last nite! talk about rain! but hubby got out there today and did some more on the coop... didn't lose power but sure shook the house!

All you coop builders- will setting the wire in concrete about 6 inch deep work for keeping the darlings safe? going to cover the run too...heard some hoot owls this morning, probably hoping the 'cafe' opens soon...

You can order directly from the manufacturer www.gqfmfg.com I ordered from www.cutlersupply.com they are realy friendly there at cutler and and you can call them and inquire about your order or anything else. You cant do that with the manufacturer. Be sure to get the, you dont want to be hand turning eggs 3 times a day for 18 days. Also recommend getting a springfield precision hydromter at walmart for $6.74 in the outdoor themometer isle.

It stormed for a while from 10 to midnight but when I went to sleep it had slowed down. I have been told I sleep hard, guess I slept through it.

Amazing that I can sleep through something like that yet wake when a baby cries.

We enjoyed visiting with Buckguy, Chicklooker, Oklahoma Lightning, Luvs2garden, Poultryand bees, auctionlover, sjarvis, nnbreeder, Sam & Jack. Sorry, I know almost everyone's real names, but it takes longer to type it in and their spouses. We had a great time ... came home with our truck full of stuff we didn't start out with, and a check for the eggs & chicks we took!!!!!

Well gotta stop for dinner now ... brb.

I guess that I sleep rather hard also!! Either that or my body says sleep harder there is nothing you can do while it is raining!!! The last storm we got a couple of days ago wrapped out kids trampoline around the light pole right outside out window and I slept right through it!!!

WEll we survived the storms over here in Tn. last nite too! :bowThey just kept coming in one after the other all nite. We got as much rain last nite as we did all week. We are at max.saturation now!
Went to the auction today, did pretty good selling. but it was not a buyers market. Everything was high. I stopped at another sale barn auction on the way home and bought a belgian quail roo and three hens for what I sold my other belgian roo and one hen for! :celebrateDidn't find anything else I really wanted except for a really small cow(not a mini but not muc h bigger) and calf that sold for $300 . I just don't have a place for big animals.
