What's the temperature where you are???

Having warm weather envy here!

For those of you not familiar with Celcius, 48C is about 100F - that’s good and warm!

I’ll be right down, you have room for horses right???? 😆👍
Plenty of space down here. We even have folks who own donkey carts.

On those occasions where it hits 48 C/118 F, life gets hard to do without the ceiling fan overhead at all times.

-45F wind chills, dying down to -30F later today. That's hopeful. 😳

No chickens/ducks will be getting out again today.

Anytime it's single digits and below I go out by the girls when I get home from work at 2:00 a.m. and take them some warm grain & pellets moistened with water and some raspberries. I'm not sure if it's doing more harm than good waking them up and having them move around to eat or if it just makes me feel better thinking they'll warm up a little. I go out in the dark with my flashlight so they don't jump down off of the roosts or anything. Could be I'm just another crazy chicken lady

I have a bunch of girls that regularly roam around at night. I am sure they will be fine and it’s a lovely treat for them.

Ooops yep meant 38C we will get that in summer here but the humidity is also high. Tough on the chooks and livestock at those temps.

What’s the humidity like there?

Humidity tends to get quite high. The worst of that is when it holds the temp at 30 plus until 2AM. I have one of those ceiling fans normally used in supermarkets etc. Couldn't live without it. Better to feel like you are sleeping under a helicopter than doing so in a hot tub. :gig
