The sun is out, the sun is out! Wait, it disappeared behind a cloud. Oh well, we are supposed to have a nice day with temperatures in the high 80s before we get storms again tonight. The wind is blowing down the plains at 24 mph so we know we are in Oklahoma.

It's pretty nice outside this morning, But I don't like the forcast for tonight..with all this warm wind, some Okie is going to catch H3ll tonight.. Maybe we will get some drying out from all of this

My wife got her boot stuck going into the coop last night and fell to the ground. It hurt her arm where she racked it down the fence, and man the smell..I had to finish feeding while she came to the house to shower.. I had to

Hope you sweet wife is okay after her fall and that the scrapes heal quickly.

I suspect we all have a few things we have been planning to do - as soon as it stops raining long enough to do them. I am beginning to wonder if we will be able to get to those projects during May.

Thanks for the welcomes! Don, you're practucally a neighbor if you're in Spiro. Cool! Someone on my intro thread said they're in Wister -- even closer. The world's getting smaller all the time. Or I'm getting bigger. Heh.

The stinking rain needs to stop already. The road we take to town, highway that runs by Wister Lake, was beginning to flood yesterday. My garden is soup and my tomatoes are dying. Can we not send our rains to California or New Jersey or anyfreakingwhere else for a week or two?

Speaking of which, I am not in a position to take advantage of this at the moment, but maybe someone else can. Saw this on craigslist...

I figured out where cityclucks is.

She is big time involved as a volunteer for the Special Olympics. IT starts today so I am sure she has been very busy getting ready for the event. It is in Stillwater.

I think you already know the ropes. Now if Carla will just let you get on here with us.

Don't you collect old gas cans and buckets and stuff like that?

If so I may have a few for you.
