P&B - We had two does and one buck around here a few years
ago. A friend of ours inheritted several from his brother that
raised them up in Kansas. They were soooo neat, we brought
those home with us. I'll check with Tom this evening and ask
him to refresh my memory about the "ovaries developing the
fat layer around them" bit again.
Oh, one of these does was a cantankerous gal, too. As I recall,
she managed to bite all four of us....LOL We messed with them
for a couple of years and never did manage to raise a litter, but
I think Tom did.
