My wife is scared to death I am gonna get bit. She has good reason! She has watched me several times and knows I won't free hand venomus snakes but she worries. When I see the pictures of the bites...makes me a little worried as well. Best first aid is a fast ride to the ER!

We are pretty sure he could skip a grade and the school offers gifted and talents course but he has to do the work to show he is interested. When I asked him why all the zeros, he said cause Im lazy and I can get it all deone and still pass in a weeks time.

Al my friend! Was afraid you had bailed on us! Brains and pretty! Lock her up! that is a dangerous combination! Some poor boy is gonna get taken advantage of or fall in love and then you gotta feed 'em! Worse than stray cats! Just ask Monty or my father-in-law! Heck I would even get abused and still came back for more! He made we work calves and all sorts of stuff!

Hey ya'll...heard from a birdie that someone was asking bout me tonight...just got semi caught up and thought I'd send a note out to say that I'm here! Life's just been crazy the past week and by the time I get settled in in the evening, I don't wanna move again until I head to bed.

Came home from mom's and two of my older chicks had died over the weekend...all the rest were prancing around the coop, so who knows what happened. My ducklings are getting so big and starting to turn white now. They follow mom and dad around the pen like they were hatched by them.

The welsummer chicks I hatched out are doing great now. There are a total of 4 of them that made it and are looking soooo good. I think there are 2 pullets and 2 roos. The last wellie that had the "protrusion" from it's bum was looking better when I got home, so I moved it to the brooder with the rest. That evening I checked on it and the silly thing had drowned itself in the waterer. sigh. Along with the 4 wellies, I have one blue andalusian (splash) and I took home 4 buff cochin chicks from moms.

Hubby was over at the quail aquarium this evening and I asked what he was doing...he says,"petting my quail". LOL

Speaking of hubby....he goes in tomorrow am to have that stent removed from his ureter and the kidney stone lasered out. Please keep him in your prayers....

Let's see...my twins are now officially out of elementary school...they are in junior high next year in 6th grade...and my baby will be in 5th grade...last year of elementary. I'm so proud of them...they all got awards today for academics and band and choir. The twins were in band and honor band and all three were in honor choir and circle the state with song choir this year....now comes junior high and one 6th grader and the 5th grader will be cheerleading this fall...sigh.

Well, better get to bed..gonna be a long day tomorrow. Tina, I'll be praying for you and your hubby. I'm so glad you got him to go in today and get checked out. Those things can progress so quickly...I pray that they are able to keep it from getting any worse and that they can keep infection away.

Ah my wife wont let me have any snakes. My brother has a beutiful albino burmese girl that I love she's only around 10 ft or so right now. His ball pythons are just to cute. When we was kids our grandma had a burmese that was a little over 20ft in length, spicer was the coolest snake ever. She wound up giving it to my uncle who ran a pet store and was better equipped to take care of her.

The 2-3 A&M's that I managed to save have started to lay, they are a tad bit sporadic now but should start to improve.

Looks like I have BBS Orp's hatching 1 out and three Pipps so far, the one that is out is very cool looking a blue it appears to be, very good looking chick.

Monty :
I am jealous you made a good haul, you lucky dog!!!!!. I have a neighbor down the road that offered me some wire so I said ok Ill take it, he brought me down at least 700 ft of 4' 1/2" not very used chicken wire. I thought wow I could do some big things with that.

Ronnie - I am jealous! I would love a snake that big! Plus those are some nice snakes. I had thought about a reticulated or anaconda but they tend to view folks as food! Just to bitey for me and what I like! I have like 5 snakes now...will catch a few more over the summer. My wife won't let me bring them home but understand why I have them at school. If I could get a safe place to keep them she would let me have them...safe meaning...Not in HER house!
