Well, I wish I could post some pictures, I am technically challenged, and if I could only get my 12 yr. old grandson here, with his help, I could do it.

They came from Ideal Hatchery, I just ordered 6 banties, so I thought I would get 3 of each. Nope, all boys.

I live between Checotah and Henryetta, do you guys know of a chicken selling/swapping place near here??

We have never had the cops called on us but our neighbor likes to come down everytime to make sure we have it under control. I always laugh at him. I understand wanting to make sure you house isnt in the path, but jeez, we have been neighbors for 10 years. We have the garden hose and 2 to 3 shovels out there everytime we make a fire. A little faith would be nice.

I'll do you one better than that, we had the EPA called on us for buring. According to the EPA it is illigal to burn in the state of Oklahoma for any other purpose other than Ag. or entertainment. So I looked him dead in the eye and said " So as long as I am holding a hotdog everything is good right?" Thought he was gonna pass out.

We were clearing the land for our horses so no ticket was involved but I always now burn as a certain spot on my land when the wind is blowing out of the south I do my best to make sure I have good wet wood for lots of smoke.

Charlie, that is a SIN to have that giant incubator and NOT have it in use. For shame.

About Falls Creek, I had many good years there. If I could go back and be a kid again that is where I would want to relive. Not alot of the other stuff tho.

Oh Steph you gonna have to come over again and see more of the eye candy I am getting.

I am a big supporter of our church camp, Camp Rock Creek in Norman. It is only designed for about 125 campers and counselors, but all three of my sons were baptised either at camp or immediately following camp. A lot of good things happen when kid are away from their cell phones, electronic games and forced to get along with others without ball games and cheer practice interfering.
Not all the kids who attend the camp are good role models before, during or after camp. For for some kids, it is a life changing experience. We all know adults who attend church regularly and then do things during the week that are wrong. The church is for sinners or none of us would be allowed to be there.
