When scrap was high I found people coming up to steal parts off of a few parts cars I have. Lets just say that they didn't outrun Emily, Teva's Airedale.

After all what were they going to say to the cops. "I was out thieving and a crazy man turned the dog loose on me?"

Most farm sales you can do that but there people that go to the monthly sales just to take someone elses stuff.
Farm auctioner know the trouble makers and get them to leave fast. I seen one stop an auction and call a guy out in front of everybody and that guy took off fast.

Cement starts at 5:00 if you are selling birds be there a little earlier but not nessesary. starts outside then inside misc, then hatching eggs, chicks then chickens.

I'm supposed to be getting ready for auctions. It sure looks like maybe we aren't going to Chupps. We only got a few hours of sleep last night, haven't packed anything yet for Chupps. We intended to work on all the chickens this afternoon getting them ready, but the fella from the Dept. of Agriculture came out and got us going with Plasticulture Gardening! We now have 5 nice long rows of plastic and drip irrigation going. Woo Hoo! and the Ag dude gave us several flats of veggie plants to plant in the rows of plastic.

Well, darn ... I guess we are just going to have to not go to Chupps and only go to Cement tomorrow evening

Gerald is disappointed too. I'm just afraid that us ol'timers can't be on the road for 3 hours at a time and not fall asleep at the wheel when we're this tired.

I must get off this computer now!

Teach ... I'll hook you up with some chicks ... I think you wanted some mille's and some buff jap's and some silkies? We'll figure something out.

Now I'm really getting off this computer tonight!
