I know how stained some of my shirts are from using the dropper dispenser for the Blue Cote - I can just imagine spraying it on a windy day - it would be like taking paint and putting it on a toothbrush and then flicking the bristles - small spatters of stain everywhere.

I may check it out though - anytime you buy that kind of stuff at the pet store, it is much more expensive than buying it in a size designed for despensing on cows.

Stray - are the birds bunching? they are cold or drafty...if they are spread all out they are hot or the air is not circulating...do they have poo collecting on their butts...they are scouring...are the dead birds flattened...the other birds are squishing them and they need more room...hope that helps

they aren't always bunching, they also spread out from time to time. They do have poo stuck to them, I've been using a wet shirt to clean them but it doesn't seem to work for very long. How do you fix it? No the dead birds aren't flattened the last one died while we were watching them, it was sitting in the corner and it kinda rolled over to the point where it was on its back. They have plenty of room, they're in a refridgerator box, well half of it, but it's bigger than the tupper ware bucket I had the other seven in.

By any chance was your first poultry auction the one in Blanchard? That one starts at 4pm and ends after midnight.

You have come to the right place if you need some enablers to help you find more chickens, catch the incubator fever or find the auctions. (that is also a disclaimer that this thread is very addicting)

btw - I use a wet Q-tip to get the stuck poo off of chick's rears. It shouldn't take but 2 or three times for them to resolve the issue of pasty butt.

yes they are a guy just bought them from me for.ive never had any like them before.so i had no idea what they were.i got $8 apiece on them they were part of my 5 rare chicks i got with my frypan special i ordered.i think anyways.i ordered a hatchery supprise too an sure got a good mix of breeds

Howdy! Just got in from feeding and watering the hoards! Some litle people made a mess! At least they help!!

If you can get the birds to someone oging to NPIP I will take them...especially that OEGB duckwing hen!!!
