Evening Mr. Al! We had a little ball practice...a little Bible practice...and now a litle chicken folks talking! Might go check on stuff and do a little garage cleaning

Teach I feel your pain on the empty bator. I got one of the 1588's going with 10 lavendar project orps eggs and some random eggs from my nieghbors and about 9 bantam eggs of my own. Ive also got 2 silly broodys sitting in the same nest on 13 eggs.

My little Cochin who hatched out chicks about 2 months ago is laying again but her eggs arent fertile or id start saving them. Sense my Brahmas two girls are sitting on eggs I may throw him in the pen with her, he is a gentlemen and doesnt mess with the baby chicks at all.

Hum....started one and then lost it...........Anyway, Teach.....
Guess the EEs have either quit laying, or we can't find their
nests. Am hoping by morning I can come up with a dozen
eggs each for you and OKLightening. Are you sure you don't
want any Cinnamon Queen/EE cross egg layers....?????
You gotta keep that "bator" cranking !!!!!

Thankfully, the storms that came through over this way, crossed
just south of us....just some wind and rain...... They say the
same thing will happen again tomorrow and Friday. Guess we'll
give up on the "mini-vacation" and just come down tomorrow,
stay over, and then come back Friday evening. We'll do the
zoo, etc., if we get a "fall" POOPS put together.....Would have
to be there for that !!!

Don...as I recall...you're the one that's over at Spiro.....
the storms looked really rough over that way.....Check in and
let us know that you guys are OK.

Robin....I'll holler when we hit Ft. Gibson....might be a little
later than I had originally figured.......Didn't get nearly enough
done this evening......LOL

Have a good one !

i love that store! i have some of my art up there too... when you come in from tahlequah, stay on shawnee - go past walmart, maybe 2 miles? turn left on 24th, that is a signal light with NSU extention on the right, then take a right at the stopsign- go up to the next right- an old pioneer chicken is at that corner, then take your first right- it will take you right into the parking lot- hope that is clearer than mud!

I would love some Cinnamon Queen/EE cross eggs if you bring them. I actually like just about anything crossed with a EE because the offspring are so cute.

There are several indoor things you can see on Saturday, even if the weather is nasty - The Western Heritage Museum (formerly the Cowboy Hall of Fame), The Omniplex - which is next to the zoo, there are two IMAX theaters, the Bass Pro Shop and even if it rains part of Friday and Saturday, it won't rain all day - this is June! (of course, it is tradition for it to rain during our church camp week, which happens to be this week

Wasn't that during the time that Lynn was in the hospital with his snake bite? If so, that would have been the week before the Blanchard auction I attended on May 23 - which should have them hatching out this week or weekend if I can count on the calendar. Of course, I tend to be "calendar challenged" and have to look at a year at a time calendar or I get lost in the count when I turn the page for the next month

by garage cleaning I mean I put together a little work bench. Cheap thing I got at an auction...didn't want it but they put it in with somehting I wanted! Anyways...decided to put it to use. Will halp with projects

Go ahead and throw together some of those cinamon thingys! They still have the chance of laying colored eggs! Besides...the bator is empty as you pointed out

If it weren't for a favorite charity where I can take all the things that were in the box with the one item I wanted at an auction, we would be in big trouble regarding storage. I already have a storage shortage with all the auction stuff that I need to sort - again - and the stuff that I want to keep but don't have a good place to store it where I can find it when I need it.
