Do you think it will be worth taking any birds to Blanchard? I have some roos, some two month old chicks and a quad of Gold Polish I need to sell. I just don't want to haul them down there and give them away.

Are you still thinking of going to the Blanchard auction Saturday night?

I'm wanting to go, but I have a feeling it will be another buyers market & selling prices will be low. I'm not sure if we'll bring anything to sell & of course we're downsizing ... so only bantam bargains will make us raise our hand to bid .... yeah, right.

Good morning okies,
I am going to do feeding chores early this morning and see if I can beat this oppressive/impressive/way too hot heat. I moved a pen of mama w/chicks deeper into the shade last night and tossed one hen who thinks she wants to go broody off of a nest last night. She wasn't even sitting on her own egg. I wish I had dated the duck eggs the Malay x hen is sitting on, but hopefully she will be brighter than the average hen and know if they aren't going to hatch and move on.

Morning everyone,

My mom passed away a few hours ago. We are so blessed that she didn't suffer. Thank God for meds. LOL

Anyway, thank you all for praying. Please continue that all will go well.

Its hard to give them up and takes time to heal. We can just be glad she is in a better place and no longer suffering. God bless you and have his arms around you and your family.

Dear Donna

Wow...when ever someone passes away, it always amazes me that they are with Jesus...RIGHT NOW. Everything that we struggle through and suffer through will disappear and we will actually get to be WITH HIM. I can't imagine Revelation 19-20 lived out.

My prayers are with you and your family that you can celebrate your Mom's life and her homegoing with peace and joy.
