Good Morning!!

That is funny how they can hide those eggs. I found the seat of an old riding mower with a nice bunch, I'm not letting them sit the eggs I have too many chicks of mulitple sizes running around.

I had a great weekend with wonderful weather!! Sounds like Neecy, Shaun and Nana crew had alot of fun with the baseball! Congrats to Shaun & his team!

Monty sorry about your hen.

Okay, well we made it home LATE last night.
Thank you TJ's Nana, Bill, Kendra and TJ for coming and supporting our boys in the Little League State Tournement. I am sorry that I didn't get to visit with you more, but I probably wouldn't have been good company DURNING the game anyway. When Shaun is playing I am alway a nervous wreck, that why I keep books or pitch count, it keeps me from pulling my hair out or cussing someone.

Shaun's GRAND SLAM HOMERUN was just a moment that will be forever remembered. The boys was down at that point 7-1 and with that homerun it really changed the momentum of the game. And the boys really came out after that and fought hard and won.
Thanks for the eggs they are going in the incubator TODAY!

Well on to football season starting August 3rd

Show goats now get to be walked EVERYNIGHT instead of just hit and miss. Ottawa County Fair starts August 17th.

I figured that I HAVE to this now while he still is here, because soon enough he will have some little ticky tailed girl and he won't want to spend so much time around his mama.

Well off to clean house after a long weekend out!!

Neecy

Necie, I have been following Shaun's team. Congrats aon all of the successes.
Thanks Eulaine for posting and keeping us in the loop.
You are right about time with the kids. Every moment counts.

I can relate Neecy. My boys are at that age where it is hit and miss wanting to spend time with us parents! I sure miss the way it was when they were little. Enjoy every moment.

Back to work! I get to clean when I get home!

Wow. Bummer. All that way for nothing. At least you didn't get cited like that lady. Maybe she was a repeat offender.

So... pardon the stupid question, but is this a requirement in every state (I'm thinking mostly Oklahoma, though) to sell birds at swaps and auctions? Or was it just because you were from out of state?

ETA...
I'm not looking to getting into selling on a regular basis so much as finding an outlet for unwanted birds. I'm considering taking these three leghorn cockerels (too small for meat) and some of my RIR pullets to one of the auctions, as I don't need that many laying hens. Don't want to go to a whole lot of trouble just to do that.

Ok here is the scoop as I know it, you can cross some state lines, cept Tx. for shows and your NPIP certification will be honored. Other states may require other tests as well such as AI or END.

Now to cross a state line to sell birds that is another ball of wax because you are now exporting for sale and some states require a mountain of paperwork in order to do that plus your home state may require paperwork for the exportation of the birds. Plus some species such as the game birds, pheasant ,quail etc. may not only fall under the Ag. Dept. rules but also the rules of the state's wildlife dept.

Clear as mud? Just Google importing/exporting birds for whatever state you are interested in.
