Hey Les Remember this quote. I found it when I was rereading old posts about our first event.

I have to say that Teva makes some of the best banana pudding I have ever eaten.

Her recipe definately needs to in the recipe book for POOPS, whatever we decide to call that creative recipe book.

I do recall that Graybear indicated he could probably eat one pan by himself, but even with his height advantage, I might be willling to arm wrestle for the opportunity to share it with him.

This sounds wonderful! I'm new to BYC; reading it every day and learning a lot. OKC isn't that far away. I really want to attend, but I need more information so that I can sell my husband on the idea of spending a day or two with poultry people. He's a vegetarian software engineer, so he's still in shock about the chickens in the pen outside, and in the brooder, oh yeah... and the eggs in the incubator. Are there things to do for the tag-alongs (non-poultry attendees)? Do most people just come for the day, or do they camp out and leave on Sunday? Tell me more

Hey, just let your husband know he is not the only vegetarian there. I will bring the veggie burgers and dogs. Do you all eat eggs or dairy? There will be a lot of stuff to eat even for us non chicken chompers. My finance is not so much into the chickens. Uli's POOPs name is "Suffers with Chickens" so at least your husband will have someone to commiserate with. Now I do not know how many software engineers we have on BYC but there is plenty of really smart and smart a&& people. Oops did I say that?

I bet I can track down a tofurkey by September. I'm the carnivore, and John does eat eggs and dairy. He also eats fish, especially when he's working in Florida. He's not sure yet if his travel plans will keep him from attending, but I'm planning to be there. Do you guys set up temporary pens when you are in the campground? John thinks we have too many chickens, so I was planning to bring a few to auction, sell, or swap. Swapping won't reduce the number of birds in our flock, but I'll claim that the chickens couldn't count. John's a math guy, though, so I'm going to have to come up with something better than that, because they've already proved that they can multiply.

Monty you must have dug through 1000 pages to come up with that. And yes there will be two big pans this year but I want to see that arm wrestling match!

Sorry Lynn but my money is on your opponet!

Rain? We haven't had a good rain here in over 90 days. There are cracks in this clay that are at least three inches wide!

Seems that this area of the county has always been drier then the rest of it. This year the storms have been splitting and going around us.

Lynn I sure hope you get to feeling like your old self soon. Teva and I went to the auction S of Stillwater a couple of weeks ago and I kept a sharp eye out but didn't see you. I was kinda hoping we would run into you. Man has that place changed!

Greybear & Buckguy Puddin' Match. Al, can you put that on the agenda for about 3:00 p.m. POOPS Saturday?

This POOPS entertainment gig is going to be easy peezy. Now if Stimpy will just volunteer to teach us one of his "exotic line dance" routines...!
