If you PMd me about birds for POOPS and I haven't answered you, please send a new PM. I'm not ignoring anyone, it's just that I'm frazzled with school starting and can't keep my home office in order.

I looked at this message and for a few minutes couldn't quite figure out why it seemed "odd". Then it clicked that although I knew exactly what you were talking about, it was "Flemish Giant" rabbits like Roscoe P. Bunny about which you were inquiring, not "Jersey Giant" chickens.

I need to check the gender on a litter that was recently weaned to see how many are does. Flemish Giant does need to be 8 months old or 14 lbs in weight before they are bred, so it will be December before the does in this litter are old enough to breed. This litter has the same sire but a different dam than Roscoe P. Bunny.

The bird in my avatar photo is my gold wheaten cubalaya hen. That's her normal stance. The tail is always below horizontal, kind of a "lobster-tail" shape. If there's any pheasant in her, it's way back in her ancestry!

I have a pair of Shetland sheep and am quite fond of them. I would like to acquire more, but since I am not really doing anything with them (like actually selling their excellent quality wool) I guess I will try and be patient for awhile. There don't seem to be very many of them in Oklahoma, from what I have learned.

Flaming hot cheetos and sphahgetti make an awsome combination with Tropical punch koolaid! Having a great dinner here enjoying a great book. One of our winny dogs got out and killed one of my turkey poults today. Im 99% sure it was a small hen to. I got 2 jakes a hen left. Thankfully I got 10 eggs cooking in the bator courtesy of Carla.

Sounds like the Dinner for Champions... Mine is Coffee and a movie ( Primal Fear) I am currently trying to clean out the office/school room ( we homeschool) to get ready to paint.

The chicks are all doing well... we lost a total of 2 chicks so I will need to update my critter count to reflect the loss:hit

Currently debating on placing another chick order after reading up on Raising Chickens and how its suggested to have 25% more than what you really want so you are prepared in numbers for the losses over illness, enemies ect. Plus I am really enjoying my goslings, Turkeys and Chicks... the ducks on the other hand are driving me bonkers:barnie... anyone else have some spastic ducks?

Hope you all are enjoying this day and if your garbage men come Monday dont forget to set out the trash( ok so this is more or less for me ha ha )

I am such a dork!!

We wouldn't be interested in breeding until spring anyway. I am just so in love with the breed, and if I was to get another rabbit I figgered it should be a doe.

LOL Neecey, you gave me my laugh this evening! I feel for you and your lack of sleep. After shopping all day yesterday and the regular chores, I am whipped! Glad you are finished with the night shift. How long before you hear about the new job you applied for?

P&B will you have anything on Bee's??
