Yes the whole 1st & 3rd date may conflict with Cement but my question is if the same auction folks will be doing Fletcher how can they run Cement too on the 1st Saturday. Carla I don't know if it will close Cement due to compitition heck the same folks will just go to Fletcher if that happens.

The auctioneer for Blanchard is the same as will be for Fletcher.

Nope, the Fletcher auction folks are hiring the auctioneer company that the Blanchard folks use.

The auctioneer is not affiliated with either auction, other than performing.

Thanks Carla, good info. Now I can see a problem with Cement, and prices for sellers certainly may be affected, what do you think??. How cool is this to have 2 auctions going at once with a 10 min drive between them, we could do a thunder run back and forth and stay at whoever has the best stuff, and we could even sell at both auctions at the same day and still make payout at both. Boy will we be spoiled LOL.
And you could attend one and Gerald the other, boy could you clean up.

The Egg Man is irritated with me because I didn't want to get up early this morning after just 4 hours of sleep to go to the flea market to sell more of his veggies.

I actually need to go buy a washing machine, since my old one (2 years old) refuses to work any more. It has been intermittent in working, until this weekend. I refuse to pay $400 for new control panel for it, so I guess I have to find something else. Right now, I'm looking online for the best rated top load washer ... but I keep switching screens to look at BYC Okies

Man I love the Cement auction! It'd be nice if Cement and Fletcher could pick different times, or Fletcher only be the 3rd Saturday. I wish we could use the fair grounds in Chickasha, that'd be an awesome place for an auction. Or even a show! It'd be much roomier than Newcastle's facility.

Looks like Fletcher will catch all the business on the 3rd Saturday of the month and the auction that catches the most business on the 1st Saturday will be the one people feel best treated and that has the best concession stand and best restrooms. October 3 will be the first test of the war between the auctions. Unless Fletcher's first auction on Sept 19 is spectacular, I would guess that regulars at the Cement auction will go to the Cement auction on the 1st Saturday and the Fletcher auction on the 3rd Saturday.

Since Cement has been the only game in town on the 1st Saturday, they might actually both do well on the 1st Saturday. Folks coming from the OKC and Western Ok areas may not want to drive even further to get to Fletcher.

Who on here was selling pens!?!? I think someone said the pens were in Guthrie... or Moore... For like $45...?? Because I want birds and I want them now!

Someone has bantam Blue Cochins listed in the NewsOk Classifieds, and I think I need them.

I'm startin to feel like that big grasshopper that gets smashed into the windshield. My brains are all over the place, I just can't think!
