My wife is intersted in reading what goes on here but she dont want to make a account because " I dont know anyone!!" I tell her I didnt either and now I have met and feel like I have known everyone for years!!

I have to agree I just took a chance and feel as though I know some of you already even if we havent met literally in person... and I have been a newbie for not even a month yet... HA HA

Quenston - Does your wife like dogs? Would she like a dog that pooped smaller, didn't have to stay in the house, and didn't bark? Because that's what all my chickens are!

All that I've had follow me around and like to be pet. My duck even tries to sit in my lap. Maybe she needs a chick that's just her own.

Actually she has one that she calls her own but she never pays any attention, I am very attatched to my chickens I have chairs in all my pens when I go and visit them and they always welcome me and at least one in every pen jumps up and sits on my lap. And she has 2 dogs a English Bulldog and a Yorkie.Well actually the bull dog is mine but she says that it is hers!!!

Popping in to say Hi!

Work has been really busy lately, we've got a puppy at home, and I find I have less time to surf/post because of all that. I do read when I get a chance to, though.

I'm still daydreaming of getting chickens. I have so much I want to do (start a side business, save for vacation, get us out of debt, etc) that I can't ever seem to decide where to put the money first. Never enough money to do all that we want, is there?

Are ya'll loving this weather? Went out to eat lunch with friends and we sat on the patio and just soaked up this wonderful stuff.

I still don't know if we're going to attend POOPS or not, the Hubs has had such a bad week I haven't been brave enough to bring it up to him.

A friend of mine forwarded a video to me of some chicks with a siamese cat & pit bull dog. Since I couldn't figure out how to post that video, here it is on youtube. Wow, this young lady has other videos with her dog, cat and chickens too.

Prague Auction

It's actually an exotic animal auction. They have chickens there too. From what I have read, they start it on Friday (trading day) and then have the auction for what's left on Saturday. I think they have it every other month??? I know there is one on Nov 28 & 29. So far, I haven't been able to find out for sure if there is one in between now and Nov be it seems like there may be. If anyone knows, please share!
