Sorry, again, that I've been gone. Momma was put in the hospital Monday. Stupid doctors don't know how to catch things before they get bad, she's got gillian beret syndrome, she's doing better now though.
I'm sick just not terribly.
It'll take me a month maybe to catch up.

Well I had a Cuckoo Marans go broody and I let her set mainly to see if she would stick it out. She hatched one chick and left the nest. I put the rest in the hatching tray guess we will see what happens.

LOL no not exactly but the internet is full of good simple designs that can be made in no time for a handy guy like yourself. It is worth the effort for allot of good meat in the freezer, even if you get piglets/weanlings they can be fed out for a short time with great results. the 90+lber's can go right to the freezer, but try and stay away from big breeding Boars they can be pretty gamey for the faint of pallet.
