I wouldn't be surprised. One of my friends husbands works their. His name is Burkey. Tuttle is a small town. I missed the parade, homecoming was really early this year. My son is 21 and I am no longer in the school loop.

Yep, we know Burkey. He's such a nice guy. We've seen him at the Tuttle football games too.

We're trying to go to all of Tuttle's High School football games this year. My cousin's oldest son is one of the star players this year. Great kid! Here's his website http://ethanbiddy.com/ So far, he's been offered a full scholarship to the Air Force Academy. I hope he goes.

I guess we're heading to Kingfisher tomorrow night to see the game.

Carla, way to go Ethan. I asked my son if he knows him. He said no. But I bet some his friends do know him.

My son was not into contact sports. He likes skate boarding, wind surfing, golf, bowling, track. We have had lots of good football players here in Tuttle.

Last Friday my DH and I drove by the football field and I said I would like to go to a football game this year.

I think I willwait for hot chocolate weather tho..

I have hardly set down for days! "Why" you might ask, because it's the county fair week of course

So far I only know what my craft and baked stuff has won... but tomorrow the poultry will be judged!

The thing I'm most happy about is that my homemade wheat bread got Grand Champion

Well what I am most happy about is just the fact the Fair is finally here!

I have talked to so many more poultry "enthusiasts"!! And the poultry barn is more full then ever, which is great news since it is what I have been encouraging the 4-H kids on for the entire past year, and now the fair is here and there are almost no empty cages

I will let you all know what my birds won, tomorrow

And our very own dandellion007 (Sherri) won Grand Champion out of all the other photography with the gorgeous picture of the Afghanistan girl, that she posted earlier for you all to see

I'm just kiddin', of course. I have 4 grandchildren and I'm fortunate that they all live within a few miles of me. If I don't see them every day, well, my day is just shot. I wasn't kidding about the little girls tho. I can sometimes say "no" to the boys but those girls have me wrapped around their fingers. And for some reason, I don't seem to care who knows it.

I appreciate all the complimentd from all of those who gave them. I must respond to you however, because of the grand daughter. You are so right! The price of grandchildren rose by at least 50%, and maybe more. I'm sure as time goes on I may even develop a deficit. I wonder if the white house will give me a bail out?

I don't need or want a bail out, and if I do run a deficit financially, then it will be well repaid with every hug I get from my little precious.

As far as dubbing? I tried, but was unable to hurt them, so I change my mind every time

Hey Snap. Its a good beginners coop. You will eventually want to get them into a pen that is tall enough for you to stand conforably in. You don't want the ceiling any higher then you can easily reach. That way when you try to catch them and they fly over your head they can't get out of reach. Its just more fun to be able to stand and watch them at eye level and be able to check nest easily.
Expert I am not . I have had pigeons for close to fifty years and am still fascinated and surprised by them. My dad gave me my first one when I was just a kid,it was a squab from under a railroad bridge. I've been hooked ever since.
