I only wish it were noon today!!!! I am ready to go now!!

Think I heard tell that the Blanchard auction was still this weekend.....Not sure where the auction thread is.

There is a big auction at the KOA in Choctaw Saturday.

Blanchards auction will just be a blip on the radar compared to our POOPS auction, it is the place to be and be seen LOL.

Thanks Al, I think we have one of those around here. Thats where I have to go pick up packages that are too big to put on the carrier's pack mule.

Good Morning all :
Well we are really down to the wire on POOPS 2009 2 days, 1 day for some of us. If you have any last minute Questions or arrangements that need to made please try and post them today. There will be a laptop at POOPS so we can address any last minute concerns from the KOA site.

A few last minute annoucements :
1. We are still in need of some tables that can be used outside for various displays & raffles, so if you have a table that you can spare it would be great if you could bring them.

2. If you have not yet posted what you are bringing for the pot luck meals please contact Carah/Sooner with your contributions. We have over 50 people who plan to attend who have not yet pledged a dish, we really need to have enough to feed all our folks for 2 meals. We have in excess of 120 or more planning to attend.

3. If you plan to Bid at any of the Actions please bring enough small bill change, sometimes there is a change shortage.

4. When you first arrive please visit our welcome table where you can sign-in and get your name tags and Program itinerary of the day's events.

5. There will be absolutely no parking in or near the clubhouse circle, those with things such as birds/cages/food and larger or numerous items, can pull up, unload and then park in the designated POOPS parking area. parking is critical to the flow and to prevent any congestion of our event.

6. Those members that have Items for the 2 auctions and Raffles are asked to check them in at the auction & raffle areas when they arrive, so that people can view the items prior to bidding.

Ok so please plan to come early and stay late and have plenty of fun meeting your BYC online friends and enjoying all the chickens/poultry/food and fun that we have painstakenly planned for your enjoyment.

AL

MY SERAMAS ARE HATCHING!!!

I'm just a little excited. If you remember they were really porous shells. I kept track of the airsacs and alternated them between my two incubators that were set at different humidities when needed. I didn't think that they were due yet. I seriously thought it was next week. I put the ducks into lockdown last night in the hatcher and left the Seramas in the bator. The ducks aren't doing a thing but I've got one chickie that is almost out and at least one more pipped. I quickly moved them to the hatcher.

Congrats! Those little buggers are hard to hatch.

I have know idea how I did it either. It was one of those things when everything that could go wrong, did. I had heck keeping the temps in the bator steady because of the flluctuating outside temps. I guess whatever I did worked.

***UPDATE***
The first one is out. It is black. Only one other pipped.

I am sad that I can't attend POOPS, but I am supporting those of you that are selling.

Huge thanks to Teach and for those of you that I am getting birds from. Can't wait to read all about it and see pics from this weekend.
