I just had the most horrible shock. Something I don't know what raccoons i guess broke into my Hambugs pen and killed them all. my rooster and two hens and two pullets and 5 btw japanese babies that they were raising. they (the preditor) didn't even bother to finish eating one before they killed another. They were all just laying there in pieces covered in blood. I dont know what im going to do. Earlier Mom talked about if I wanted to sell the chickens for the winter and then get back into it spring because she said you can find replacements for them, but I always said, "Not the Hamburgs, there's no replacement for the Hamburgs". They have always been as close to perfect as I've found. They win class champion at every show I've ever taken them to. But now they are all dead. I cant even think right now, I don't know if I'm just going to sell out at least for a while or what. And I was suposed to be taking them to a show this saturday! and they next weekend too!
